This is a common myth. When used correctly—primarily during your heaviest working sets—wrist wraps do not weaken your wrists. They provide support when you need it most, allowing you to train harder and safer. For your warm-up sets and general conditioning, we recommend training without wraps to continue building natural wrist strength.
They should be tight enough to provide solid support and restrict excessive wrist movement, but not so tight that they cut off circulation or cause numbness. A good rule of thumb: wrap them for your heavy set, and then loosen them immediately afterward. The V2’s allow for quick and easy adjustments.
